It is fully accessible to disabled visitors and often hosts special events, details of which can be found at the website. The museum is located in what used to be the gardens of Sir George Reid and visitors have the opportunity to explore the monuments in the gardens and visit the on site tea room. Entrance to both of these is free.
Entrance fees to the museum are:
Adult £4.00 ; Senior Citizens & Students £3.00 ; Child £2.00 ; Family £10.00
Opening times are as follows:
April - October (Tuesday - Saturday: 10am - 4.30pm ; Sunday: 12.30pm - 4.30pm)
November, February and March (Thursday - Saturday: 10am - 4pm )
