[más]Zeeburg Camping is situated on a small island surrounded by a lake, about 6 km away from Amsterdam's central train station. The tram station next to the camping site is called Flevopark and there are two trams in operation - number 7 and 14. It is also the location for a huge outdoor swimming pool called Flevoparkbad.
It is open all year-round, 24 / 7 and offers places for tents, caravans and campers. They do however also offer cabins and wagonettes (wagons on wheels) as well, as an alternative to a hostel or even a hotel.
The price depends on the season and is divided into low, mid and high. The campsite offers bike and kayak rental, a small shop, bar and restaurant with live-music in the evenings during July and August and a pool. It has a small farm at the premises with goats and hens and also a children playground. Showers operate with a token, which can be purchased at the reception, bar, shop and vending machines. The washing and drying machines are available for use 24 hours a day and are also operated with a token.
