Friedrich Karl Alexander offers a look at life during the 18th-century and features original period furnishings, chandeliers, porcelain and other accoutrements of the time. Works of art by Rubens and Van Dyck are also on display and guided tours of the 27 rooms are provided on the hour between 09h00 and 17h00 (April to September) and between 10h00 and 15h00 (October to March). Please note that it is not open to the public on Mondays and that group tours are by appointment only.
The Court Garden includes a herb garden, roses and an orangery which dates from 1726. Admission to the gardens is free and they are open all year. Facilities for disabled patrons are provided and there is also a restaurant on site.
