[más]We welcome anyone, independent of age, nation, whether groups are individual travellers, but unfortunately have to charge (by law) 19% V.A.T. (extra tax) for anyone staying older than 27 years. The hostel offers 92 beds in 31 rooms: 4 single bed-rooms with shower and WC en-suite, 14 double and twin bed- rooms, 2 three-bed rooms and 6 four-bed rooms and 5 six-bed-rooms. For these rooms shower and WC are shared, but on each floor. All rooms are simple appointed.Rooms are free from 12 noon. In case of an earlier arrival, on day of departure, the rooms are to be vacated by 10 a.m. Of course we provide the service to safe-keep your luggage until you leave Berlin. Bookings include breakfast between 8 and 9.30 a.m., with a buffet offering bread-rolls with all sorts of toppings, cereals, juice, and of course the usual choice of tea and coffee. If you have any special needs, esp. vegetarian and kosher, please do not hesitate to mention your wishes when booking. Since this is a hostel, bed-linens may be brought with you, or you may borrow the linens from us (fee 3 EUROs per person per booking). From bookings of 3 nights and more, these fees are not charged. Shopping facilities and restaurants are to be found within the vicinity of 200m, incl. two famous fast food restaurants, a drugstore, but also a bakery and supermarkets. However : we cannot provide a kitchen for self-catering, and cannot allow cooking in any form in the rooms. Our reception is staffed from 7 a.m. till 7 p.m. and on weekend from 7 a.m. till 1 p.m. Arrivals at any other time are not a problem, but please tell us as specifically as possible (please do not write just later the night) when you plan to come, perhaps even with means of transport, destination airport or station, etc. Please note that we offer the Berlin CityTourCard for 48 hours, 72 hours or 5 days and different zones, giving you the freedom of exploring the city by public transportation and benefiting from discounts of up to 50% on a variety of attractions.
