This estate was apparently once a working mill, and has since been transformed into a treasure trove of plants and flowers, holds within it part of the Killiskey River (which is a tributary of the River Vartry). What makes this more special than most gardens is its much more natural and free-form look, instead of anything manicured and stylized.
This doesn't mean that it's all hodge-podge or random. No, the area is broken up into many sections, each of which has a special em

With modern, tastefully decorated rooms and almost all the necessary amenities, this clean hotel offers an airport shuttle that makes it ultimately convenient for the transient traveler. Mind you, it isn’t optimal for visiting the city, but if you’re willing to take a 20 minute bus ride into town, it isn’t the worst place you could stay.

This hotel is located just off the highway, making it very convenient to reach by car and to use as a base for discovering County Wicklow. However, that also means it's on the edge of town, and not extremely convenient for reaching by public transport, or for wandering around the town of Bray or its famous seafront. But as far as accommodations for Ireland are concerned, it's well worth a try since it is reasonably priced and acceptably comfortable.

The rooms are large, comfortable and tastefully decorated, and the back garden off the dining room is lush and pastoral. Conveniently located for getting to airports located to the south of London, this B&B is probably the most elegant one I've ever stayed at, and certainly was an intelligent choice!

However, once in a while you’ll get stabbed and find you’ve been stuck with something very pleasant indeed. That’s my overall impression of the Best Western Chiswick Palace & Suites Hotel. In fact, the first thing you’ll notice when you leave the Turnham Green tube station is that you’re in a lovely neighborhood with nice shops, pubs and restaurants all along the way. Thankfully, the hotel itself lives up to this as well.
[27/12/2008] When it comes to hotels in London, you either have to pay a fortune or you end up staying in a dump. Thankfully, the Express by Holiday Inn is neither of those. The hotel is located in Zone 4 so while not totally centrally located, is still only a tube ride away from any and all attractions. Mind you, it will take 5-7 minutes to get to the Stratford station, but I can think of worse scenarios. The hotel is clean, modern and comfortable with accommodating staff and no-frills amenities.
[11/08/2008] My absolute favourite place to visit in Israel, this nature reserve is suited for everyone from old to young, from abled to disabled. Yes, this beautiful site actually has a whole pathway that is 100% wheelchair accessible and the park owners were pleased to say that they achieved this feat and only had to cut one branch of one tree in doing so.
Take a short walk or a long one under tall trees and across babbling brooks and rushing rivers, see the old waterwheel which used to power a flour grinding mill and just wander around. All paths lead back to the entrance so no matter which one y

[06/08/2008] When my husband and I need to really relax and want something special, we've been known to indulge ourselves and take a couple of days to stay at this lovely spa hotel. Nestled in the hills of the upper Galilee, the name of this means "Viewpoint of the Seas", and on a really clear day, you can see the Sea of Galilee to the east and the Mediterranean - and if its really, REALLY clear, even down to the Dead Sea (but that's a bit of a stretch). But the best view from this hotel is of Mount Hermon which is snow-capped almost all year long. Mizpe Hayamim is truly a pleasure to stay at, despite t

[05/08/2008] Just outside of Jerusalem up the road from the very friendly Arab village of Abu Gosh you'll find this Kibbutz Hotel which is located on the top of the hill. With its large clean rooms, and lots of facilities for groups, weddings and other events, this hotel has kept itself up to par for as long as I've known it. Over the years, the hotel has expanded and now has both an indoor and outdoor swimming pool and other gym facilities. Plus with it being so high up, evenings are very cool and comfortable even in the dead of summer. A lovely place to relax or hold your meetings or celebrations.
