The restaurant is located beside the river a 10 minute walk from Dalyan center, which is very peaceful. You can eat in raised tent like structures with low tables the traditional way, or at the tables placed on wooden platforms beside the river. The views are nice from these tables and you get a nice breeze so we opted to sit here for lunch as did most of the other customers.
Not long after we sat a waiter greeted us and passes a menu and apologies that he only has one at the moment, he asks if he could take our drinks order, glass of fresh orange for my wife and a bottle of Efes for myself. The drinks arrive quickly the fresh orange was a good buy at 2 lira about 82p as we had seen it for about 6 lira in other places and my beer was 4 lira average for the restaurants in the area, but it was colder than some places which was refreshing.
When the drinks arrived the waiter asked if we were ready to order food, we were and ordered a Shepherd salad, stuffed peppers and a meat pide. We did not wait long for the food to be served even though they were fairly busy and the food was well presented and looked very tasty. My wife also ordered a glass of white wine to drink with her meal.
The food did taste as good as it looked with the salad having a very nice dressing on, the peppers stuffed with rice and added spices tasted delicious and the pide a bit like a pizza but without the cheese was also very good.
We thoroughly enjoyed the meal it's location and the service from the staff. The only hiccup was the bill as they had charged us for 2 glasses of wine instead of 1, I think it was a genuine mistake but no matter where you buy something you should always check the bill before paying just in case. Will return the next time we visit Dalyan.
