King Edward VII, while he was visiting Dwight as the Prince of Wales during 1860, has attended a service in this church.
Since 2007 the Pioneer Gothic Church is registered on the The National Register Of Historic Places.
The church is located near the former Route 66 and part of the Historic Route 66 tour.
