At the same time the "Hortus Eystettensis" gardens were added, which has been replicated by the current Bastion Garden in 1998. Admission to the garden is free, but there is limited accessibility for disabled visitors.
Visitors can view the "Tiefer Brunnen" (a hand-carved well reaching a depth of 250ft) and also visit the Jura-museum which exhibits fossils or explore archaeology at the Early History museum. Closed on Mondays, Willibaldsburg is open from 09h00 to 18h00 April-September and from 10h00 to 16h00 during the rest of the year.
