[más]Cineworld Glasgow Renfrew Street is featured in the Guinness Book of Records for being the tallest in the world. Indeed, its 18 screens of varying sizes are housed in a 62 metres building and accessed by means of a series of escalators and from the top floor, where a viewing foyer is available, visitors can get a view over the town. The building’s design is controversial as it was the 2000 recipient of the Scotland's Carbuncle of the Year.
As well as outlets where one can buy sweets and popcorn, there is also a bar and a party room for children. All of this means that the cinema’s capacity at any one time is 4300 people.
The cinema accepts Visa, MasterCard and Maestro cards, and the Concert Square public car park is available opposite. Buchanan bus station and Queen Street train station are nearby. Current programming, times of movies and tariffs are available on the cinema’s website.
