El Caledonian Canal Visitor Centre está en Fort Augustus y es un centro que ofrece a los visitantes información sobre el Canal de Caledonia y su historia desde su construcción hasta la actualidad. La entrada es gratuita y está adaptado para personas con movilidad reducida. Además cuenta con tienda de regalos y abre diariamente desde la semana de pascua hasta finales de octubre de 9:30 a 17:30 permaneciendo cerrado durante 1 hora para el almuerzo.

Castle Stalker sits on a small island in Loch Laich, an inlet of Loch Linnhe. The name comes from the gaelic "stalcaire", meaning "falconer", and there has been a fortified building of some sort since the early 14th century. It acquired its present form at about the end of the 14th century and is regarded as one of the best preserved medieval tower houses. Its history reflects the violence and feuding of the highland clans, especially the Campbells, Macdonalds, Stewarts and McLeans. By the time of the Jacobite rebellions in the 18th century it was in the hands of the Campbells and held out against a much stronger rebel force. It was abandoned in the 19th century but bought back by the Stewart family who restored it to a habitable state and still own it. Its picturesque setting has meant it is much photographed and it has appeared in films, Monty Python and the Holy Grail and Highlander: Endgame Access to the castle is by boat and visits are possible on specified dates between May and September. Advance booking is necessary, see website for details. The jetty is reached by a track with parking at the end, but visitors are warned to take care and it may not be suitable for all vehicles.

Inverness Highland Games es el nombre que recibe unos juegos que tienen lugar todos los años en la localidad de Inverness, perteneciente a Escocia. Estos juegos fueron fundados en el año 1822. Los juegos consisten en lanzar basicamente distintos objetos con su consiguiente peso y medir los metros logrados y conseguidos. Las competiciones se dividen dependiendo de la edad y del sexo. Se puede apuntar cualquiera, pero previamente hay que rellenar un formulario. También se lleva a cabo música típica de la tierra, desfile de las fuerzas armadas, entre otros eventos.
