The camp is fully fenced and is nestled in the heart of a working 120ha banana farm, with lush bush area surrounds. Sweetdale Camp offers accommodation for large groups in a beautiful, comfortable and relaxed setting. Our dormitories and all our facilities are of a high standard. There are two dormitories, one for men, one for ladies (sleeps 46 each) and two seperate rooms, sleeps 4 each with en-suite shower / toilet. All linen, blankets and pillows will be provided. ActivitiesSeveral hiking trails will lead you through bush, veld, gum trees, along small rivers and, if you are lucky, you can spot the rare blue duiker, red duikers, oribis, bushbuck and Nyala. A Fitness trail helps you to keep fit. The recreation area and the big fenced garden gives you the opportunity to play soccer, beach volleyball, uni-hockey, billiards, table tennis, table football, and a large trampoline and swimming pool is at your disposal. A big fireplace will give you a warm feeling in cooler evenings. A short distance away you can enjoy several blue flag beaches, the big pure Venom Snake Farm and you can make an excursion to the famous Oribi George.HospitalityWe will welcome you in a quiet, African designed lounge, which will be always available and under service for you. A housekeeping supervisor will be available all day. The housekeeping staff members will keep the dormitories, dining room and all facilities clean daily. Our camp will give you a comfortable and familiar atmosphere.MealsBreakfast will be served daily from 7 to 9am. Two chefs will prepare you lunch or dinner on request.EmergenyMargate Private Hospital is reachable within 5 minutes; Port Shepstone Public Hospital within 15 minutes.
